The culture of the USOC is somewhat greedy and powermad, from the assasinations the Senate order to the bribes taken by officials. This is somewhat good for bribers, as most services are Government run; the Priesthood (police force), the telecommunications system, the military, and many others.

Here is a list of bribes that are available to players. Bribes may be easily made with a simple computer connected to the public net, using it to send the request to the chosen official, and also to authorise the transfer of funds from your account. Anyway, on with the list:

The Priesthood

CrimeBribe
Obtaining classified information (criminal record, memberships of clubs, annual income, inside leg size, etc)10c
Removal of a criminal record20c
Creation of a false identity20c
Springing a character out of jail20c
Mistaken arrest (to get somebody out of the way for a few days)10c
Blind spot (disable street cameras in and persuade patrols to avoid a particular location)10c per hour

The telecommunications system

CrimeBribe
Call trace (obtain the location of the previous caller to a particular number)15c
Number trace (obtain the location of particular number)10c
Bug (record calls to/from a particular number)10c
Knockout (encourage engineering work on particular line, disabling it)5c
Enquiry (find out if a certain number is being bugged, traced, or whatever)5c
Notify (from now on, the character will be notified of any attempts at bugging, tracing, knocking out, or whatever on his number)50c
Untracable call (cannot be Call Traced)1c per minute of call

Also, if with a Notify or whatever, the character finds out of an attempt to play about with their line, he may bribe the workers not to - at 1.5 times the original bribe. Of course, the tamperer may have made a very large bribe...

The Military

Major Accident (a misplaced rocket hitting a certain car etc.)30c
